Multi-Step Program

We recommend a multi-step program, gradually maximizing treatment options as your skin type allows and tolerance to active ingredients grows. Some therapeutics/actives are strong and can be irritating on frail and thin skin, they should be gradually introduced as tolerated and under supervision by your skin care professional.

Understanding and Patience

Correcting damaged and ageing skin is a LONG TERM endeavor. It takes weeks and months of treatment to get the most out of any program to correct ageing skin. BE PATIENT and STICK TO YOUR PLAN. Wanting a quick fix can be your worst enemy in your journey for better, younger looking skin.

Step 1: Prevention, Evaluation, Preparation, Maintain

Prevention begins with stopping the damage. Protection from the elements (dryness), minimize sun light (UV light) exposure are essential in any skin therapeutic endeavor. Evaluation by a skin professional to determine your skin type, and skin problems is fundamental to starting a treatment program. If you have healthy skin, maintain it, or should you have a preparing your skin for treatment options with a program of protection and moisturization minimizes your risk for side effects from treatments.

Step 2:

After a brief 1 month preparation your journey should proceed to Step 2. If your evaluation reveals aging skin problems then actives (ingredients that help resist and offer help for symptoms of aging skin) should be added to your daily regimen. These stronger additives offer better results, but also can be more likely to irritate your skin, so a gradual strengthening of them is recommended over the next 4-6 weeks.

Step 2 moisturizers have added stronger actives.

Adding 2 new phases- antioxidants (Vitamin C for example) and beginning retinoid actives is a part of Step 2.
